A fresh urine sample was plated onto blood agar plate using a 10 microliter calibrated loop, and incubated for 18 hours at 37 degrees Celsius. If 30 colonies were counted on the 10-1 dilution plate, perform the calculation to determine bacteriuria levels in CFU/ml. Use the following conversion factor, 1 ml = 1000 microliter. 6b.
